Yeah, that (^^^) was totally the name of a 1990s-era hair salon, right?
There's a woman at the fitness center where I work out who has adorably cute, short hair. It's bouncy and has that rare quality of not looking like she dipped it in oil after a long run. I've seen it go no further than the top of her ears, but it always looks adorable. I want to ask her how she manages to look so polished, but I'm afraid she'll see sweaty me and say "There's no hope for you."
And then I get tempted to cut my hair at that length, and then I remember that I can't stand running when my hair is super short because it's constantly falling in my face. I'm at an impasse with my running - I'm not running as much or as hard as I'd like - and I don't need anything else, no matter how trivial, derailing me from running.
It also doesn't help that I bear a striking resemblence to Deputy Trudy Wiegel when my hair is super short.
But anyway, short hairstyles - I covet them! I had an adorable haircut my senior year of high school. It was short and edgy, and I felt ready to take on the world. I haven't had a haircut like that since that time, despite NUMEROUS attempts. I hate that my hair has just about given up and seems ok with being "acceptable," but there's not much more I can really do about it.
And then I look online and see a really cute bob that I think I can handle. (Minus the pink highlights, of course.) Usually, my go-to haircut is "Dried with a bit of something resembling a style," so I'll need to break out the straightening cream big time for this, but I also think it would be worthwhile.
Anyway, I need to make an appointment, and I'm getting a new 'do for the holidays. Anyone else getting a new hairstyle? What do you recommend?
